چکیده
AIM: This research aimed to study heart rate variability (HRV) in cross-country skiers with different levels of maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max).
MATERIALS AND METHODS: HRV analysis was carried out using the Ecosan-2007 (Medical Computer Systems, Russia) complex 52 from Komi Republic team (candidates for master sports and Russia). The Oxycon Pro ergospirometric system (Erich Jaeger, Germany) used calculate VO2max. To identify patterns individuals VO2max, volunteers were divided into two groups: VO2max up 4400 ml/min (n=27) over (n=25). MannWhitney U-test ascertain whether differences between groups statistically significant. A Spearman correlation test analyze relationship HRV.
RESULTS: Athletes showed significant several indicators as follows: absolute values LF VLF waves, relative value HF LF/HF, IC indices. Correlation indicated presence a negative MxDMn, MxRMn, IC, power LF, LF%. waves. Furthermore, positive observed HF%. VO2max/kg TP, VLF, IC; HF%.
CONCLUSION: In skiers, identified parameters. Compared lower those higher had more efficient mode regulation.

Blood lactate level responses and comparison with submaximal running and roller skiing in cross-country skiers.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of 30-minute duration submaximal running and roller skiing exercises, which are among the most important aerobic exercise models in cross-country skiers, on lactic acid levels. The study group comprised 6 female and 4 male athletes (age: 16.87 +/- 1.87 years, body height: 168.35 +/- 5.66 cm, body weight: 56.83 +/- 7.1 kg) who competed in cross-...
متن کاملThe velocity and energy profiles of elite cross-country skiers executing downhill turns with different radii.
This study examined the influence of turn radius on velocity and energy profiles when skidding and step turning during more and less effective downhill turns while cross-country skiing. Thirteen elite female cross-country skiers performed single turns with a 9- or 12-m radius using the skidding technique and a 12- or 15-m radius with step turning. Mechanical parameters were monitored using a re...
متن کاملAssessment of Heart Rate Variability Thresholds from Incremental Treadmill Tests in Five Cross-Country Skiing Techniques.
The assessment of heart rate variability (HRV) thresholds (HRVTs) as an alternative of Ventilatory thresholds (VTs) is a relatively new approach with increasing popularity which has not been conducted in cross-country (XC) skiing yet. The main purpose of the present study was to assess HRVTs in the five main XC skiing-related techniques, double poling (DP), diagonal striding (DS), Nordic walkin...
متن کاملVariability and predictability of performance times of elite cross-country skiers.
UNLABELLED Analyses of elite competitive performance provide useful information for research and practical applications. PURPOSE Here the authors analyze performance times of cross-country skiers at international competitions (World Cup, World Championship, and Olympics) in classical and free styles of women's and men's distance and sprint events, each with a total of 410-569 athletes competi...
متن کاملBiomechanical analysis of double poling in elite cross-country skiers.
PURPOSE To further the understanding of double poling (DP) through biomechanical analysis of upper and lower body movements during DP in cross-country (XC) skiing at racing speed. METHODS Eleven elite XC skiers performed DP at 85% of their maximal DP velocity (V85%) during roller skiing at 1 degrees inclination on a treadmill. Pole and plantar ground reaction forces, joint angles (elbow, hip,...
